Any ideas how to remove the small white circular piece that holds the window into the window regulator? Usually I can just pull the window out but on this car it seems like this white piece is going through the glass and keeping it in place. I tried to pry it out but worried I will break the glass.

Flip it around and start with the other eventually you'll meet in the middle and that clip will just fall off of there then you're going to have to flip this window over.

By flip it around do you mean spin the white piece? The regulator is in the door I have no way to move the window besides up and down, I am trying to take the old regulator our it's just connected to the glass.

I found a YT video for a Malibu that shows how to push out the white barrel, seems that I just need to push out the middle piece first.
