Resonator cut off

do the exhaust systems otherwise you will have alot of noise in your car magnaflow or gt r exhaust are the two you want im sure both have catback systems that sound awesome i have magnaflow myself

i got a 06 gtp and i cut everything off, put a 20 dollar cherry bomb in place of resonator, and then y piped into duels and it sounds fantastic... and it was extremely cheep... under 75 dollars..

(RXPGTP)..what does the cherry bomb do?..I cut off the resonators and did straight pipes..it sounds a little "civic" at higher rpms..does that cherry bomb take care of that???

i think cherry bombs make it worse my deepen it but when you get up to higher rpms then it would not be what your looking for GTR or Magnaflow exhaust are the two best choices.

yeah i have no "riceyness" its a deep tone that i really like. i didnt wat to have it to loud for summer when i run with windows open and stuff

I have an 05 3.5 v6.. my resonator rusted through so I decided to cut it out and weld a straight pipe.. God I wish I had of clamped it cause i HATE how it sounds. sounds great if you only idle, but once you are driving it, its.. in a word, RASPY. it sounds worse then a ricer. enough said. I am looking into finding a universal resonator to put into its place because I've learned to hate the sound

go to a shop and have them cut everything off and do pipe with maybe.....maybe a magnaflow or flow master either one will sound good.......cherry bomb also makes a muffler that looks similar to a magna flow and a flow master so im sure it sounds close enough
