The problem exists when the fourth bolt is factory placed further out so as not to be able to fit in the hole Racingline has provided. You guys got lucky in that yours was in the more "normal" position closer in.

In any case, I heard from Joe from Racingline this morning. The bolt is factory spot welded and will need to be cut and maybe drilled out to be removed on my particular car. A good weekend project! Really shouldn't take that long once I round up the proper tools.

as per the instructions FROM RACING LINE THAT CAME WITH THE STB

you need to remove it, it does NOTHING.

i had to take mine out as well. use a wrench or w.e you like

I know this is kind of off topic but I notice that you had the racing line grounding kit on your car. Does this actually work? and does it keep you lights from dimming when your subs hit?

I never had any problems beforehand so I can't tell you. I have a fresh battery and only one sub. I bought it because it looks nice and there is probably some benefit.
