Hello everyone!

I have a quick question for you guys. I own a 2006 Pontiac G6, 2.4L engine, and since the past 6 or 7 months (probably longer) I have been hearing a weird bumping noise every time I drive my car. It's a little hard to explain, but it almost sounds like a bubble is in my front tires ( there isn't a bubble, but just for description's sake ). To further explain, it seems like every revolution my tires make, the sound comes. I took the car to two mechanics; one said that I need to replace my calipers, rotors and brake pads, the other mechanic said that it had nothing to do with the brakes and that it was something with the steering that's causing the noises... Has anyone had or currently has this issue? I am very skeptical about buying new calipers, brakes, rotors, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
