Is the sap bad for the paint? Or is it htat it just causes the paint to not look as good? And it's hard to remove, so you have to be careful your technique does not hurt the paint? I moved a couple months ago and I have an assigned parking space. I am realizing that a tall pine tree is getting a lot of sap on my car. I don't know if I should be worried about what has happened... as in, is it damaging it by just sitting there? But I do know I have an urgency to get this crap off my car. It really makes the windshield terrible, too.
I've read that non-acetone nail polish remover works well and safely. I may try that, but I"m just wondering if damage has already been done other than leaving my car not as shiny and "pretty."
