thanks for any insight, first time poster, I have a 06 with a 6m and ever since an accident (front end hard) whenever I go up hill with a load on the motor the traction control light comes on (where you would deactivate it). Now its gotten to the point where it feels like the clutch is badly slipping in all gears. Is this a case of just a bad clutch (80k) or could this be a computer problem. I wouldn't think a clutch problem would mess with the traction control. Any suggestions?

I'd hate to take the car to a specialty clutch shop if I didn't have to...

There is a good chance that the computor sensed the slipping clutch before you did. I'd take it in. Maybe some oil, bad pressure plate, who knows?

Like others on this forum I think the clutch is not strong enough for the 3.9 engine. My clutch burned out after only 18,000 miles.
