I have a 2009 Pontiac G6 that I’ve only owned for a couple of months now. I did the 2010 instrument cluster swap to keep my DIC after I also installed an aftermarket head unit.
Now that it’s winter I’ve noticed that when traction control or ABS engages the backlight of the instrument cluster will pulse, presumably in sync with high power demand associated with traction control or ABS engaging.
Does anyone else have this behavior occur with their speedometer/instrument cluster? If it’s typical then I’ll stop worrying about but I’m worried that I might’ve done something wrong with the swap.
