I have an 06 G6. While parked, with the engine running, and not touching the steering wheel at all, the steering wheel shakes back forth on its own.

Im thinking its the torque sensors in the column assembly, and not the rack itself.

I have a video of it, but I dont think I can post that here.

It could be your torque sensor or it could be your power steering motor unit.. I had the same problem as you and I replaced the torque sensor same shit so I'm going to replace the motor unit which is also the control unit.
