I guess its time I finally get around to putting this up - with the weather starting to get a bit warmer and finances finally allowing it I will be doing a few more things to the car.

So far - very very little and only cosmetic but I do have big plans on the way!
Main thing would be the fly eyes tint for the taillights instead of VHT night shade - included a good shot and where I messed up haha, Emblem overlays, painted the engine cover and thats about it!

I would like to do some work inside the car as well, but nothing i've seen has screamed at me just yet. Anyhoo - 99.9% off the line for now but I'll add more as I do things : )

Stupid question - is my car considered royal blue/dark blue or metallic royal blue/dark blue?

Extend it out a little - Got approval from the wife today for a few things for the car. First, tint should be done this weekend or next (heck yes) - intake and headlights and if the tax return is good (We go Saturday) then GT-R exhaust ready to rock n roll!

P.s. - what is the color of my car or where would I find the 'exact' color (for color matching)

The color is called Midnight Blue Metallic. They pirated it from the GTO's.

There is a sticker on your inside lid of your glovebox....

See if you see a 37U there...? last line of the RPO codes, usually.
Midnight Blue Metallic replaced my G6 color (Electric Blue Metallic).

Found out my car is WA403P or imperial Blue metallic - pretty cool. Bought a can of spray and brush (always better to have and not need) and saw some threads about painting the grills or the chrome around the grills - think I should color match?

Tint has been scheduled for this Friday - CRABS ordered, added to GT-R exhaust list, strut tower brace going to be ordered this Friday or sooner. Ohh, and painting calipers and doing resonator delete when I get CRABS in.

lookin good. i'd color match the grilles. thats what i plan on doing to mine. I think it will look the best.

Car is currently at the window shop getting tint. I wanted to get 25% all the way around but missouri law is 35% in the front. I even tried the whole 'uncle sam doesn't need to know' and offered cash - no go. I guess I'm used to the city where you give cash they will put 5% on your windshield! I will post pictures once i pick up the car.

Haha... when i asked the guy to tint mine at 5% ha said "So you want me to illeagally tint your car?" I said "Yes", and he said "Ok". i guess that way he can say that he warned me.

the tinter here wouldnt go past 50% front and 35% rear because he said if someone gets pulled over he can get fined $5000

35% isnt bad for the front though. still decently dark

yeah its bad out here I guess (Downtown they had more important things to worry about) but they run the VIN and if the shop did more than legal its a 1500 fine. At least I can say I tried haha

Tint makes such a huge difference in the appearence! Whats your progress on your "to do" list?

Crabs just showed up at the house (at work so I wont see it till almost 1am) for the number 3 and the FPU. Going do install that this weekend as well as do the resonator delete. If time permits I am going to paint my calipers red as well - I have the red paint but debating if I want to add black to the housing.
I'm on the list for the next batch of GT-R Exhaust, ordered some paint to color match the lower grill, overlays for the door sill scuff plate ordered and next paycheck I am going to order the black eagle eye halos. Eventually I want the WAMS tune but that is going to need some saving first haha.

Also messed w a pic - think I should black out the chrome on the sides?

nice job i like the painted engine cover i have red cover too im going to post pistures this summer when ill make a complete overview.

edit: IMO it doesnt really make a difference weather u keep the chrome on or not. i like wit with the chrome tho as it shines at night

I like it without the chrome! I am sure you are excited to get your CRABS installed and your calipers painted! That sucks you have to wait till enough people order the GT-R before you can get it! I would not be patient enough for that, I oredered mufflers and tips and had a system built for my car.
