to anyone with the gxp street edition looking to replace the foglight bulb you can use a H10 bulb to replace the stock 9040 bulb. i just did this to mine a few hours ago and all you have to do is trim the one tab a lil bit and it fits perfect. now that i finally got that done its time to do this:beer: lol

9005 hb3 fits exactly the same. i went through a lot of headaches ordering bulbs
I think H11's fit fine......???????
Isn't the H11 what it requires. Or just the GT? I do know the H11 is for the GT
Fogs are fogs...you got em or you dont. There arnt different ones.
If you do then the H11 fits it.

Or so I thought till this thread about altering H10's...

the gxp street edition takes a different bulb then the rest of the g6 models. the factory bulb for the street edition is 9040 and its a 40 watt bulb. the other models take the h11 bulb. the 9040 can be replaced with a h10 bulb or i also seen people use a 9005 bulb but heard some complain about it putting out to much heat and hazing the foglight housing.
