Sudden Acceleration

I have an 06 4 door G6 that I bought about 6 weeks ago.

On Sunday when I started the car in a parking lot and put it into gear it surged forward as if the throttle were wide open. It has not done it again and I forgot about it because it is my wife's car and I don't drive it that often. I remembered it when we decided to use her car for a two week trip we are going on next Monday. I am wondering if this is an isolated case or if others have this happen to them.

2 possibilities I can think of:

1) You put it into drive while the car was just starting up (revs tend to be higher when you first start it up), or

2) You have clogged fuel injectors and your car raises your revs to keep it from stalling out.
never heard of that....hope it was an anomaly.

3) The throttle position sensor hooked to gas pedal shorted out for a split second showing 100% throttle?

4) The evil spirit in the car pushed on your throttle. :D
