Alright, so, I was recently handed (by my long time trusted mechanic) an inspection reporting that pretty much anything that could be wrong with my vehicle's suspension and braking system IS wrong with it.
So, seeing as I've had to search and scour for most of the parts to fix everything, I figured it might be reasonable to help everyone else out by compiling a list of the sites where parts can be found.
So far, I've found my pads, rotors, struts, and tie rods.
However, some parts that still need to be located are:
Linkage kit and Brake calipers (mine seized)
So, I'm going to start by saying that the tie rods can be found at
http://www.BuyGMpartsWorldwide.com
Rotors, Struts, and pads can be found at
http://www.tirerack.com
Any help contributing to this list will be greatly appreciated, I'm hoping to end up with all the information on this one thread, so that when something breaks (as it invariably does with vehicles in general) we don't have to spend hours scouring the google box to find what we need to replace.
Thanks guys.

Unfortunately Tirerack has crappy availability for the 05 GT. Most all brake pads (except for 1 brand) and rotors (again except for the basic crappo rotors) are special order or "fewer than 2". :banghead:

You may have better luck going directely to the manu's website. Alot of people go with the Hawk pads.

Have you really noticed that the car needs all the stuff? You could get a second opinion just to make sure you're not getting screwed. Mechanics do need to make a living afterall.

Thank you for your reply KB, but notice that I at no point stated what precise condition each part is in, only that each part is requiring attention. I've got over 100,000 kilometers on my G6, and was expecting each of these things.
In regards to tirerack being "special order" or "less than two" on stock for items, My post is, as I said, an attempt to compile a list of the sites where the parts are available. Some people may find that they don't mind waiting a little while for their special order parts to arrive, and some manufacturer's have minimum orders.

*edit* You'll also notice that no other thread on the forum is addressing the topic of the linkage.
