Has anyone successfully swapped tapshift into a non-tapshift (still 4t45-e) g6?
If not, does anyone know if the trans computer is the same for both transmissions?

Oh ya, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm actually not a g6 owner. I drive a Saturn Ion-3 (i <3 tupperware), I posted these questions on here because g6's were the only 4t45 trannys with tapshift. Anywho... dont hate on the saturn owner?

meh.. I'm used to it, lol.

Hmm... Looks like the only way I'd be able to find out if this will work or not is finding a g6 gt at a junkyard. Unless of course someone on here is planning on taking their transmission apart, haha.

Also, I've looked around on here a little and I've seen talk of some people wanted to swap their 4t45-e out for another transmission, if someone does it, drop me a pm, I might take some parts off your hands.
