What Temperature does your car run at?
I noticed mine a tad over 200. Maybe 210 or so.
Ths seems high.....Yet it the needle goes there and stops.

It depends what kind of driving your doing to. stop and go traffic its going to get hotter.

a bit off 200 or right on--its normal as per dealer service dept. its for emissions -hotter engine burns cleaner-not like the old ones--mine stays at 200 in 98 degree hot and humid with air on in traffic--never moved past--remember they are new cars-

Mine hits 200 and stops, I dont like it at all hotter it runs the less hourse pawer you get. But that little needle dosent go up even in 90 degree weather with air on.

Hook is correct, this is the temp new vehicle engines are designed to operate at. Running them cooler, or using a cold air intake might provide a little more peak horsepower, but at the expense of the engine management system compensating, richening the mixture (it takes fuel to make power) and lowering your mileage. Who drives these things at WFO all the time anyway???
