Well, my Canuck Motorsports lowering springs arrived today. Installation is tomorrow or Friday! Lowering is 1.75" front / 1.75" rear. This should take care of the wheel gap.

$204, which included free shipping.Slickdesi said:nicee....put some pics of the car after ...btw how much did you pay for them?
Thanks. I will get some better overall shots when the weather clears. The car sits low now.sunrunner_pei said:Wow. Looks great!
The car has a firm, but controlled ride. The car's cornering ability is improved and it handles the bumps well. No harshness at all.JonCo said:How does it ride now?
The springs were $204 USD.JonCo said:Hmm, so how much did you spend on the springs? Im thinking of lowering my GT within the next 3 weeks. Mainly waiting for another paycheck so Im not left dirt poor. Hah, but yeah. Im thinking about getting the Eibach kit. Its only lowering 1.2"(F&B) though. The hefty 230$ is quite steep(+ install)
H&R springs are very good. If you want a drop that 'just right'', H&R is the way to go. A 1.75" drop may be a bit too much for most people.JonCo said:Not bad. But the 1.75 drop is what scares me. I didn't want to mess with a drop greater then 1.5". The one thing I do hate though is that no site can keep how big of a drop the springs do. Some say the Eibach kit does 1.2 while others say 1.3. Wierd... I saw some H&R lowering springs I kinda liked. 1.5" front 1.3" in the back.
