Noise on acceleration
My G6 made a whistling noise during acceleration. I took it to the Pontiac dealer and they replaced the muffler and exhaust assembly at no cost to me. The work order said "Product support and customer satisfaction". I think that means they acknowledge that there is a manufacturer flaw, but have not done a public recall because they have nothing go gain with Pontiac being a dead product. However, if a Pontiac owner complains, GM is ethical enough to fix it free.just noticed today-- when i'm idling at a light or stopped completely and i go to accelerate, a rattling kind of noise comes from the middle of my engine bay. sounds like the middle towards the bottom of the bay...anyone help on this?
