I just bought my first car. 08 G6 V6 Sedan. I am a little worried that I have only had my car for a couple weeks now and I am having issues with the RR tire pressure.

My dashboard keeps telling me that the RR tire pressure is much lower than the rest of my tires. It maintains around the mid 20s but the rest of my tires are right around 30. However, when I went to my local gas station/mechanic he said that all the tire pressures were right around the same.

So I guess my questions is if the problem is within the Dashboard reading or if something is wrong with my tires.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

You could try letting out most of the pressure in that tire then fill it back up. It could be a faulty sensor in the RR tire. Driving the pressure down then back up may help.

Faulty TMPS? You could either go to a tire shop and get it replaced or just ignore the problem until you get new tires. I check my tires by hand because I don't have that fancy stuff. :p
