Will a set of 205/50/R17's fit my 2009 G6? Right now it has 225/55/17's on it.. any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

Those are too small even if they fit. Stick only with the correct sizes which are 225/50-17 or 215/55-17.

Hey I have a chance to get 4 Goodyear eagle 225 65/R17 for my 2009 g6 gt 3.5. I'm not to worried about my speedo, but I don't want rubbing. Also can get 225 60/R17 too look new for only $100 buck. Will either of them work. I need tires

Use the calculator above, and make some measurements. Remember the dimensions change over bumps, into driveways and all that. The 65 will be pretty damn big, the 60s maybe okay.

I have a 09 GXP. I put 245/50R18 on my g6. The tires fit with some rubbing on the strut. Took a short 2x4 and a 5lb hammer to the strut. Took a couple of hits to bend the spring base on the strut. Fixed rubbing issue.. The next set I bought were Goodyear eagle F1 tires. 235/50R 18 strictly summer tires. Put coil overs on it too. And 18x9 in rims on it also. Thing drives like it is on rails! Very happy with the F1 tire. Excellent wet traction too.
