Hey guys,

My transmission makes a grinding noise at idle and under acceleration. Any idea of what the problem could be? Im thinking an input shaft bearing, but i am not sure. Any help would be great.

I haven't noticed a difference. It just sounds like my trans is about to take a dump

Drop the pan and see how much trash is in there, that will tell the story.

Bearings don't usually go, clutches and converters do.

Well the trans needs to be removed. Take it to a good transmission shop, a independent, see what they say. If you go to a chain they will just want to replace it.
