I have a 2006 G6 with the 3.5 and for whatever reason, it dies when it gets below half a tank. My first thought was the fuel pump is weak and on it's way out, but I wanted to see if anyone else has some suggestion on what could be the cause of the problem before I shell out 200$ for a new fuel pump. Thanks

It may be a bad fuel level sending unit... Does the car actually have half a tank, or is it empty and saying that it has half a tank? How many gallons does it take to get it back up to full.

I tried everything else first. Ended up being the fuel pump and a fuel cap
