I am paying 5.69 per month for Gap- 39* month smart buy 3.9% - about 375 per month - i put 1500 down- the numbers worked for me-i want a new car every few years--but want the option of selling it if i want when i want--a car always depreciates you never can go even or make money--except on my 63 corvette-lol--have a nice holiday

Is it just me or has GM caused themselves to go broke and stabbed us GM owners right in the back? Let's see, they weren't selling cars like they needed to, so they gave EVERYONE the option to get the EE discount, causing them to loose money, causing those that bought before the offer to struggle to trade because they paid way more than the EE discount price, the new Red Tag price, and the new 2006 pricing, and are now having to layoff EE's and close plants. The most I've been honestly offered in the past week was 17000, which is ok, but I needed more. I am still working with the Nissan dealership, I've got to get out of this GM mess I have allowed myself to get into. And as for the EE discount, I was totally not feeling it. The EE discount is for GM, Nissan, etc... employees. The people that go out and work 8-14 hours per day in a 80-100 degree factory to produce these vehicles, kinda like if you work at Wal-Mart you get the Wal-Mart discount. GM should have kept that for the EE's, but they got in such a bind and got desperate, they took away a special benefit for EE's for a few months and gave it to everyone. They did this to themselves. And for those of you that may think, oh she's just jealous b/c she didn't get the EE discount on hers, well, I did get the EE discount b/c my husband works for a Tower Automotive plant. Just my opinion. Any thoughts? ;)

If you really need to get out of your G6 that bad, you could always have "a deer ran out in front of me, where did that tree come from?" accident. Seriously, go look into leasing a vehicle. They apply lease incentives that will eat up the negative equity in your current vehicle.
