wams tune horsepower?

i have an 06 g6 gt coupe. im thinking of getting the 91 octance tune. about how many horsepower increase would i roughly get?

very rough estimate of 10-15

10-15 is a pretty good estimate on 91, its the shift points/firmness that most people rave about :)

Did you have to rebuild the tranny or could it already hold up a supercharger??

I bet you get super gas mileage with that car! LOL :D

Nope its got a TR6060 in it so it should be ok, the clutch is another story. The car actually gets 24mpg on the highway ;)

Slim to none thats why we dont offer an 87 tune its just not worth it.

Probably about a 10 HP gain as well as the shift points being different.

so i've been reluctant to pursue a tune since i havent been quite sure of some details... like how do you install it? are there certain things you can have customized or access so you can customize yourself? and even if you get a 91 tune can I sometimes run on 87?

if you run 87 in a tuned 91 car you'll get knocking which is NOT a good thing...I know that much

what would happen if i ran 91 on a 93 tune? i really want the 93 tune which would be no prob gettin the 93 where im from in mi but i am usually working in montana and i cant seem to find anything higher than 91 there. their grades seem to be 85.5, 88 ad 91 sometimes 92.

I'm not sure if the the 91 or 92 in Montana would equate to 93 in Michigan because of elevation differences. Good question, I'm stumped. :confused:

i was wondering what kind of hp gains i would get on my 2008 2.4L with 91oct vs 93oct? and is it worth it to get any?
