Have the P0420 code and check engine light on. Already replaced the Catalytic Converter and it didn't help.

I want to use Spark Plug Non-fouler adapters over the O2 sensor to pass inspection, but I notice they come in different sizes.

Does anyone know which size is appropriate for the O2 sensor threads? I'm seeing 14mm and 18mm sizes in the brief search I did.

I've got the Base 2007 2.4l engine.

Thanks for any help!

18mm is the standard for O2 sensors. There are specific adapters made for screwing into O2 sensors for defeating that trouble code. Go into ebay/amazon sand they run $10- $15.
