Water leaking in on Passenger side

Well after having the car since September and just a tad under 10K miles. My Car is starting to leak right behind the passenger seat and drivers seat right above where the seatbelt comes out of the side panel. It was pouring here today and I noticed it when I came out of the store. So Im going to call the dealer tomorrow and make an appointment. Its either getting in from the window or the sunroof. Its closer to the side windows. Has anyone else had this problem on the coupe?

I must not have any luck with pontiacs. My last pontiac was a 87 formula and the t-tops leaked on that too. :(

I had the dealer fix my back in april, both tubes came dislodged. Their fix lasted exactly 1 month. I put the tubes back in myself after that and its been good since May.
Did mine myself. I made sure to put clamps on the tubes, so they won't be separating again.

That worries me :( .... but rest assured, i wont be doing ANYTHING on this car myself, if it breaks 100 times ill bring it in 100 times, thats why we pay for a factory warranty.
Washed my car today and guess what??? Wet seatbelt again! Looks like ill be taking it in again, only this time I will be in a much worse mood!
Got mine back, dealer said the stock runoff hose from the sunroof was not long enough. They put on a longer hose and SWORE that will fix the problem, i guess we will see next time i wash the car. Actually, i kinda dont mind having it in for repairs, my dealer gives me awesome loaners.
2 rains and one wash later and the passenger seat belt is bone dry, guess they finally got it right! ;)
pictures please..

My G6 mostly is in a garage but the other day after work it was raining all day and both drivers side and passenger side seatbelts were wet. :( I'm not much of a mechanic and I see some of you have fixed this yourself, could someone post some pics of where these tubes are located so I can just do mine myself?

thanks

Where are the tubes located? I have the pano roof and just had some water on the back seat floor on the driver's side. My warranty is almost up.

Bring it to the dealer while you still have a warranty.
Why haven't they issued a recall yet? It sounds like the odds of this problem appearing are pretty high.

There is no recall, because it is not a safety issue.

Thanks KMan. I saw another thread where someone had a leak of the seal around the back door window, so I'm not sure if it is the roof or not. I really don't want them messing with the roof as I haven't had any problems with it yet. (knock on wood)
the leaks occur mainly in the coupes with the drain tube problem, so yes, if you have had any water in your car period, and you dont know where it came from, take it to the dealership (before warranty is gone) because they all by now should know of any leakage problems with any G6 trim and fix it. its best to have it fixed now, then later.
So are the these drain tubes only on coupes with sunrooves? I have a sedan with the pano roof. I have an appointment tomorrow at the dealer, I'm just over 35K miles... Anyway, it has only happened once after the wicked nor'easter we had a couple of weeks ago. I don't see any openings for tubes when I open the roof.
Drain Tubes

I received a "Customer Satisfaction Campaign" notice about this in March.
Never had any leaks in my 06 GT coupe for the year I have owned it. Took
it to dealer and they secured and rerouted the drain tubes per the spec.
Took a couple hours to do it. There is a "recall" on this now.
leaks

Is this issue only with the G6 coupe? I have a sedan with sunroof and passenger side floor is soaked I have a small pond forming!!! I see water in the trunk as well as a possible leak in the passenger side front door. I want to bring it in but am not sure if it;s covered by the extended warranty. Anyone know if it is.
Hey Guys,

Just bought a 2009 G6 Coupe w/sunroof. I have a garage so it hasn't been exposed to long periods of rain yet; but when I took it to the car wash (automatic car wash w/wind blowers), I saw water dripping on the rear passenger side, all the way to the rear where the gray headliner joins the black plastic trim. Now I believe the sunroof issue was fixed on the assembly line for the 2009's; would that be a safe assumptions? If so, could it be the exterior wheatherstrip (black rubber) between the rear window glass and 1/4 panel sheet metal?? Looking at it, I see some gaps and I even see a little bit of black sealant added on the driver side!! The car is brand new with no signs of interior flooding.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
Add my 2007 G6 sedan to the list bc my car have a pool in the spare tire well. My car is out of the dealer warranty but I have an extended warranty do you think it will be covered by that or the recall ?
Oh and I also have a sunroof - so that makes mine even more irritating.
You can add my '06 G6 coupe to the list as well!! My leak seems to be by the back window...I went to take it to the dealer for them to look at it only to find out my warranty was up a month ago. Anyone know what this repair would cost me?
