Hi I am new to this site. I have an 05 g6 gt. Recently i have notices this strange noise when I am pressing the gas at low speeds. It sounds almost like I am dragging something, but nothing is hanging from under the car. Any thoughts on what this could be?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
I hear the noise now even with car sitting still clutch in or out, checked fluid level in trans it was on level surface and when I took the plug out to check it the gear oil was coming out of the hole, so it may be just a little over full as I think you are supposed to be able to insert your finger in the hole and down to feel the fluid. Running Amsoil in the tranny

No not the same person. I'm the original poster. I brought the car in. it ended up being the heat shield from the exhaust that was lose and rattling around. they removed it. problem solved.
