What gas mileage are you getting?

cai intake is only going to get you an extra 1 or 2 mpg.. its pretty much the same for the exhaust. if your lucky you could gain maybe 5 or 6 mpg all together

edit: the cai is going to help the engine breathe better tho.. cooler air is always better for the engine

I get around 29mpg doing mostly city driving. Maybe 10km a week on the highway

2008 gxp- About 19 city and for some reason i get about 32 highway. Not that i mind it

We drive a lot in town and only get 17 ish... But we have been goin on the mass pike a lot and judt got up to 21... 3.5 with 53000 on a 06... What you think tune up?

Says who? Are you saying I'm full of shit? 27mpg is not very difficult to obtain in this car.

I get 28 easy & routinely and Im 85% highway. It all depends on which engine you have and how hard you mash the peddle. I average 400 miles to the tank.

I have the 3.5 and I get 18-23 city and last trip to green bay WI (I live near St louis) I got 33 mpg all hwy doing 80 all the way. Steady mix, I get about 26 mpg.

Depends on how you drive.

The G6 is rated for 22 city and 30 hwy. I have a GTP with the 3.9 that is rated for the worst fuel efficiency and I can do that and better with my mods! It is mostly in the driver, but quality of fuel, tires, weather conditions, and several other things can also factor into the mpgs. So if you are not able to get your G6 to obtain these numbers you need to consider your driving style.

I have an 07 G6 GT 3.5, 52,000 miles. I drive 100 miles a day mostly country roads average 55 mph. Computer said I was getting on average with good driving conditions 30.5ish. I just put a K&N cold air intake system on and did a test drive after resetting the mileage. It's saying around 21 We'll see what it does when I drive to and from work tomorrow, it better improve to at least what I had or I'm going to be ticked...

Give it a few days, or manually calculate it. Sometimes the computer is not always super accurate.

I also have the K&N but I did get a lil better gas milage when installed, But the shitty heatshield is robbing you too. When I went with the Crabs heatshield my gas milage went up again.

I just hit 89K miles and drive at least 20 miles highway everyday and get around 28-30. Any way I can get better?

I get between 29 and 32 MPG on the freeways driving 60-75 MPH. I have a 2007 G6 4-cylinder.

Sorry if I sound stupid for not knowing how, but How did you reset your fuel econ meter?

Also just hit 100,000 miles getting 24 mixed right now. Just cleaned the throttle body a little and already brought my mpg up one mpg. I'm going to fully clean it somtime this week, to increase mpg, and also adding a K&K air filter so I'll let everyone know what the results are.

Scroll to where it says that on the screen, then hold the "Enter" button until it goes to zero. When it says zero, it is reset.

An update on my mpg. The computer is ranging from 30.8 - 31.2 when I drive/how long I drive. I can get about 380 miles on a tank. So needless to say I'm happy with it

27.5 in the warmer temps (65 and up) and as low as 23-24.2 in winter! 95+K miles

getting between 25 and 27 mpg right now. But I feel I have to mention that I'm not exactly driving it like a grandma. I don't speed much or drive too recklessly but I do accelerate quickly a lot and I do drive fast when the moment shows itself.

On another note I did spend one night racing with a bunch of people, Burned through a quarter tank, (from full to 3/4) When I topped it off I worked out I was averaging about 38 MPG. I was astonished because I burned pretty much that whole quarter tank while driving at WOT. haha
