24.5 MPG since my wife has been driving it. When I was driving it was around 20-21.

And I drive more on highway that she does

...The manual as well as my dealer told me the remote start will run "about" 10 minutes before shutting off.

Actually the manual says

The remote start feature provides two separate starts,
each with 10 minutes of engine running. Or it provides
one start with 10 minutes of engine running, which
can be extended by 10 more minutes. Once two starts
have been provided, the ignition switch must be
cycled to on and then off, to get two more remote starts.

This means if you time it exactly you can use the 2 remote "starts" to get a total of almost 20 minutes engine run time. When you perform the 2nd remote "start" you basically reset the timer to 10 minutes.

Ok, but that is not a continuous run. After the first 10 minutes is up it shuts off, then you start it again. Am I reading this right?

It can be continuous if you are careful.

Do a remote start (Press Lock and then Press and Hold Remote Start button)

After almost 10 minutes are up, repeat first step

As long as you do this before the first 10 minute timer expires the vehicle will continue to run for another 10 minutes.

You cannot extend remote start running beyond 2 cycles without inserting key into ignition switch and turning to RUN.
