Yes I did. The interior was exceptionally nice. It ran well, but I actually expected a little more "oomph." I have to say that the ride and handling is much better than my GA, but actually for the money difference I think I would possibly consider a GP instead.

I haven't got the bug yet, and probably won't until after winter. I hate the thought of getting a new car and driving it through all the crap right of the bat.

When I did an honest comparison, GPGT vs. G6GT it comes to a $1000 difference, and you actually get a few options that you don't get on the G6. Plus the incentives on a GP are better. The difference between a loaded G6 and the GTP is $3000 stricker and there is no comparison at all between those two.

The incentive on a G6 is only $1000, and the incentive on a GP is $3500. I'd say it's a no brainer.

Have you taken the GP for a spin as well?...it is a heavier car (around 240 lbs.)...that could play havoc on the handling...just my 2 cents since I have driven neither. ;)

The other thing is the GTP w/Comp G package didn't impress me too much its 1/4 mile times were 15.015 acording to the booklet from the dealer...I would expect a supercharged 3800 to be pulling down at least mid to low 14's...just my opinion though... ;) :cool: :)

I test drove the first G6 to come at my dealer about 2 or 3 weeks ago. To me, the handling is better than the GrandAm (compared to my mom's 03 SE, not my 94). I loved the seats and the interior too.

As I saw at the dealer, the G6 is actually cheaper than the Grand Am was.
The base model G6 is 24 700$ which include V6, a/c, almost power everything and cd player, but now rims. My mom's 03 GA SE1 was 26400$ with comparable equipements with the Ecotec and 15 inches rims.
