Which braking problems are covered under warranty?

I'm a hair over 18000 in my 05 G6 V6. I'm taking it in next week for some service. One of the things I'm bringing up is the breaks. There is a very high pitched (but not loud) squeal coming from them when I decelerate, and a slight crunching/chunking sound when I slowly break to a stop.

The car was bought used a few months ago. According to Carfax, the car's break pads and rotors were replaced last year at the 13500 mile mark, by the dealer as it was getting prepped for resale.

So, is this something I'm going to have to shell out for, or is it a warranty issue?

If you're still in the warranty period you could take it to them and tell them you have major brake squealing. They're probably turn the rotors and replace the pads for free, but there's a good chance the brakes will probably still squeal.
At that mileage it would be a warranty thing. Does it sound like it's coming from one particular wheel or all of them? There might be some dirt built up on the flanged side of the pads if they haven't worn past those flanges yet -- try spraying the heck out of each calliper with a pressure washer (rinse water, not soap), let it dry for a little while, then take it for a drive and see. Could also be cracked pads. Are the rotors warped at all (pulsation during braking either felt in the seat or in the pedal)?
they replaced my pads and resurfaced my rotors for free. sounds are gone and the breaking "feels" more competent!

i also got my fuel system cleaned and my acceleration has become ferocious!

its starting to feel like a new car!
Mine rotors and pads was replace and surfaced the ****ing thing still squeaks do you know does the brake cleaner works? I am at 17500 km my rotors and pads was replace like a month ago.
The stupid dealership has resurfaced my rotors 3 times and replaced my pads the last time they resurfaced.. each time they're good for a couple thousand and then the problem begins again.. the dealer told me that i drive aggressive and slam on the brakes.. or that i ride the brakes.. but that's ridiculous.. I drive 25 miles to and from work on a highway at low traffic times (4:30am and 1:00pm) so I barely even use my brakes.. but anyways, i stopped going back, i deal with the shaking and the squeels it's not worth dealing with dealership morons.. and one more thing.. my passenger front window sometimes won't go up.. and they told me.. "you aren't supposed to put both windows up at the same time", are they kidding? no, they were serious.
