So I want to get a ram air hood for my GXP. My question is, should I go for the stock ram air hood for the GXP or is the AIT hood that I've seen on ebay just as nice? Any suggestions or comments?

i dont think either of those are a functional ram air hood. to get functional i think you have to go with MPD. click

I'm not really going for functional. I was just wondering if the AIT hood looks as good as the gm version.

No I didnt get the street edition package. Looking back I should have. But now I would like to get the street edition hood, or the AIT. I was looking to see what people thought looks better, cause I think they look very similar. If I could save the money by getting the AIT hood I'd like to do that. But I dont want to get the AIT hood and be disappointed.

imo, AIT does looks best, but the MPD hood(that actually functions) Looks badass to me as well. So to each his own!
