Help . I have a 2009 Pontiac G6 2.4 and yesterday while driving I loss power and engine was shaky, my Check engine light keeps blinking and traction control light stays on with a slash thru it car shifts hard any ideas on what it could be msg says service traction ?

you're going to have to get your car scanned to see what codes are coming up. Most auto parts stores will scan it for free.
that would explain the flashing CEL. You're right on track, inspect the wire real good for cracks.
Might be dumb but did you check the distributor cap? Maybe your spark plugs were good, just your distributor cap not giving voltage (assuming the wire is good).
The 2.4 is coil on plug. No distributor.
You can try swapping coils around to see if the misfire follows it, moving parts and clearing that code to see where it pops up next.
I've seen tc problems come up as MAF sensor issues.
Try cleaning the MAF and the throttle body for good measure
