damn that is good..the highest my car recently got on the display was 600km but on a long road trip..but the tank i have now in my car only got 220kms from full to half tank which is pathetic for a 65L gas tank.. did you do anything to your car? what maintenance repairs have you done? let me know!!
All G6s have a 16.0gal tank, or 60.5L. Factor in a ~8L reserve (when the low fuel light comes on) and 220kms on half a tank isn't that bad.

a day ago in order to change front light. i open up front end and found that air intake is broken. I think by removing this part my Car fuel consumption decreased a little bit.
Have a look at broken parts and plz share ur views.

Map Atlas Ecoregion Line World

Made that trip ALL in 1 tank of fuel going 1 way.
Going there my average according to the DIC, says between 7.5-8L/100 km, and on the way back (I don't ever see this happening) said DTE:860 km, but again, must be very rough estimate, otherwise on the way back was seeing 7-7.5L/100km. My receipts on fuel that I had got show me actualls of 8.78L/100Km, and on the way back 7.5L/100km.

I figured mine the old school way...fill it up, drive it and then fill it up and divided the gallons added to the miles driven.

My driving is about 70/30 city to highway and I averaged about 22.79 mpg in my 2007 pretty much stock 2.4L 4 door G-6 with automatic transmission that now has 89K on it. Its a second owner vehicle that I bought off a impound lot, so its not like I have owned it new and babied it all these years. The only mods to date are K&N Air Filter and I am currently driving with a check engine light for a catalytic converter code. Further more this is Texas and you better believe I am using the A/C!!! That's code for "its still hot here!". Just saying...

2006 G6 129,711, consistant MPG over the last 4 years.

Im just about through my first tank, and I only got about 17 MPG with some highway and soem city, not getting on it at all....

What kind of mileage are you getting and how many miles are on your car, i think mine just needs to be broken in, im only at 150 miles....
I'm getting a steady 20-22 MPG around town (I mean on surface streets at rush hour 'cause the freeway is BAD) and on the freeway when it's stop and go or slow and go. I get a steady 29-33 MPG on the road.
In town I have NEVER EVER gone below 20 MPG.

We travel long distances every 2 months to either Salt Lake City UT at appx 750 mi one way, or Albuquerque NM appx 900 mi one way, and we only stop for gas and to pee.

Utah speed limits are USUALLY 75-80; AZ/NM around 70-75. I can tell you that I PUSH those suckers a tiny tad...

The MOST I ever got was 36.2 MPG in May 2012 on the way to Albuquerque, BUT I was following a U-haul with my daughter and going 55 MPH.

15.8 mostly city driving. 3.5L 07' v6....why the **** am i getting such bad gas?!?!?!?!?

Just had alignment done (tires are shotty but gas mpg has been same since they were new)

new battery put in, oil changes are done regularly. I had my wires and plugs replaced in 08 so they probably need changed (noticing my headlights dim sometimes when shifting into drive or using power windows)

my fuel filter hasnt been changed, and the car is at 110K miles, still drives like a dream. I havent changed the fuel filter because you must drop tank to get to it and my personal mechanic told me i have no reason to do it yet.

going to do a throttle body cleaning...but i cannot figure out WHY do i get such god awful gas?

(i am heavy on the foot)

I think the 3.5 epa estimated is 18 city, 28 highway.

what area are you in. I know up here in Illinois they recently changed over to the higher ethanol mix for the winter months, as they do every year, and my mpg went down with it.
You could just be experience the loss due to that.

What kind of mpg do you normally get?
