i forgot to mention that its an 09 G6 GT. and the fogs are 9040

 

Can't help you with the fog light question. But I've been running HID lows since nov and fogs for about 3 weeks and don't have a relay for either. I've had no problems so far. But since you already paid for the relay you might as well use it anyways, would only benefit you.

 

you'd need 2 relays for 2 kits. the dual in dual out is for a single kit only. the whole kit is plug and plug for both the fogs and headlights. you simply plug the connectors in the proper way and your good to go. easiest installation i've ever done. and yes your fogs will work.

 

ok so Dmanj- your running a relay with your kit do you have both fogs and lows

 

i dont have fogs on my 6 but i am running the relay on my lows. Since the fogs are projector housings however, they will produce a different color output than the halogen low beam housings

 

im debating on if i want 6k or 3k for my fogs

 

imo. 6000k for looks, 3000k for function

 

yea i hear that.. 6 k is my choice plus pa cops hate yellow fogs i had them on my s10 and wass pulled over alot just to turn them off ha

 

really? thats so dumb considering the point of having yellow in the fogs is to penetrate the fog better. So i guess for you it would be a better option just to go 6000k then

 

found my answer for bulb types. seems the 09 g6 models use 9040 which is also the same bulb type as the h11/9055 bulbs
